| Idle Rains released their first album in 1996 as "Tommy John and Idle Rains" titled "Wasted Nights". The CD featured 10 original songs and the single "I'm After You" which received modest airplay across Western Canada. Wasted Nights was recorded and mixed at Touchwood Studios in Regina, Saskatchewan and produced by Tommy John with David Evans and Idle Rains. Production assistance also provided by Grant Hall and Kevin Churko.
