| Tommy John Ehman's "Brain" |
| What is up! Welcome to "my" page. This is where I get to tell the world what is on my mind. Sounds interesting doesn't it! This is how it works. You may not know this about me but I have a brain. I've had it all my life. It works good and has never let me down. It can think, it can muse, it wonders, it knows all about me and continuously feeds me new and interesting information. Sometimes this information comes fast and furiously and causes great stress. Well, this internet page will help to alleviate that stress. Here is where I get it all off my brain. Just let it go. Will you learn anything new? Probably not. Will you be enlightened? Probably not. Will you come back and read this again and again. Probably. Why? Because you have a brain as well and it too needs stimulation and information and you will find some small yet satisfying fullfillment by reading about my "BRAIN". "Money makes the world go 'round, the world go 'round, the world go 'round; Money makes the world go 'round, makes the world go 'round" That's nothing new is it!! Money, money, money. I'm sick of money! Everything is all about the money. The more you have, the more you spend. The more you spend, the more you have. A never ending cycle. And even if you don't want to get caught in that cycle you have to, at least to some degree. Spend, spend, spend they say; even if you don't have the money now, you can pay later. Six months or a year! Just buy it now! Low interest or no interest, just buy it now cause you need it! Do I?? I know we all need money to live and to eat but I think people have gone off the deep end. Not all but most. Don't get me wrong, I don't want to go back to the dark ages but maybe the dim ages. These days there is entirely too much emphesis put on money and stature. How big is you house, how new is your car, where is you boat and motorcycle, 3 tvs with vcrs for all, your tropical vacation and on and on it goes. It's got to stop. Who is responsible? I guess we are for being weak but it's the advertisers and sellers that tell us we need it. And of course we flock to the tills with our hard earned pay to buy more stuff we could easily do without. There is another great influence that I don't want you to forget either. Society! Everything about it tells us that if we have loads of money we are somehow richer. Not true I say. Advertising for the lotteries on tv say live life to the fullest with millions of dollars. Athletes are terrible! We look up to them, espesially the kids. They are all millionaires. And I mean millionaires. (Right Alex Rodriguez at 25 million a year, and willing to go on strike for more!) Ridiculous. More, more, more. Then you have the C.E.Os of these major companies who line their pockets with zillions of dollars while the company goes broke leaving all the little people with nothing. I am a little people and I'm mad! Ladies and gentlemen, I'm out. I'm opting out of the game. Not that I was ever really in but I am out for good. Yes I will go on and earn the best living I can because I do need to eat and I do need a roof over my head but I will not be part of the greed and over consumption that is running rampant in our cities. Join me people. Do not be tempted by the "MAN". It's not true. Life is not better with millions of dollars in fact it's usually worse. Stop and smell the roses along the way. Do not be ruled by the all mighty buck. It's time to break free. Does money make the world go 'round. I say NO!! It's MUSIC!!
