| What is up! Welcome to "my" page. This is where I get to tell the world what is on my mind. Sounds interesting doesn't it! This is how it works. You may not know this about me but I have a brain. I've had it all my life. It works good and has never let me down. It can think, it can muse, it wonders, it knows all about me and continuously feeds me new and interesting information. Sometimes this information comes fast and furiously and causes great stress. Well, this internet page will help to alleviate that stress. Here is where I get it all off my brain. Just let it go. Will you learn anything new? Probably not. Will you be enlightened? Probably not. Will you come back and read this again and again. Probably. Why? Because you have a brain as well and it too needs stimulation and information and you will find some small yet satisfying fullfillment by reading about my "BRAIN". Hello again my friends. My brain has been working overtime lately so I need to let some of what's been clogging it up go. I'm going to start with two words..."A MORON"? It seems that Canada is again in some hot water over comments made by a top aid to our ever-bumbling Prime Minister Jean Chretien. Francoise Ducros who works very closely with and is a top advisor to the PM has stuck her foot in her mouth and can't get it out. She was recently quoted calling United States President George W. Bush a "MORON"! Yes, that is correct, a moron. A top government official calling the US president a moron and all within earshot of always present news writers. Then if not bad enough, neither the Prime Minister or Francoise Ducros herself have offered any apologizies to the President or to the US itself. Today as a Candian citizen I am ashamed and embarrassed! You may not know but I am not a fan of Jean Chretien or the liberal party but I wish just once the PM and the liberals could do the right thing. These comments about the President were made in regards US foreign policy and his handling of the middle east crisis. (as far as I can tell from watching the news). I am not saying that people can't take a stand and have an opinion but keep them to yourself; Especially if you work for the government and for the PM himself. But worse yet is that no one was willing to take responsibilty for the comment. Well today, finally, Francoise Ducros has resigned; at least that is what they are saying. I say she was canned!! I guess it's a case of better late than never. Now it's time for Big Jean to step up and give a nice apology to the President. How likely is that? I hope that our friends to the south do not think that this lady speaks for us all. Surveys have shown that a majority of Canadians support the President and the US in their fight to rid the world of terrorism and those who support it. For my money, I'm glad I'm on their side. The side that speaks for human rights, democracy, freedom and a safe place to live. Yes I also believe in free speech, but in this case it is not free! If the Prime Minister won't apologize, Francoise Ducros won't apologize and if the liberal government won't do it either; Well then I will. On behalf of Canada...We Apologize!!!
